My favorite memory
Being an exchange student will enrich you with so many memories. We ask the students what their favorite memory is!
My favourite memory is from the Introduction period where we got the chance to meet and compete in games with the new Swedish students. I must say almost all the international students at that time anticipated for this moment for cultural exchange. Although we preconceived their "reserved personality" however, breaking the ice with them was still difficult but in the end, we managed to connect with them successfully and together we had amazing fun.
Again, during that same Introduction period, I got the chance to be interviewed by SVT to share the story behind "Why I choose Sweden and Mid Sweden University in particular".This moment made me popular in a way because two days after the interview I got some few people approaching me in the city asking "Are you not the one on news yesterday?".
A great memory it is!

Watching the Biathlon World Cup in Östersund is a great experience for everyone.

It's very hard to choose a favorite moment from the autumn semester, because there are so many. My highlights mostly involve all the time spent outside in the mountains, forests and around town. Furthermore I appreciate all the friends I've made here very much. The university courses have been interesting so far. Now that Östersund has turned into a winter wonderland, staying in town has been adventurous enough, learning crosscountry skiing, improving my iceskating skills or just cycling to uni through the snow. This weekend I went iceskating on Storsjön for the first time. The sun was out and the wide view and snow made it a magical experience. That's why I chose this moment for a video. I can say I feel very lucky to live and study in this beautiful place being surrounded by so many nice people!
